Looking good is good business! That’s what my Dad always says, he chips in that smelling good is good business also. I mean, I can’t deny, he’s absolutely correct! When I wear my perfume and go out and about my day and I perceive the fragrance 5 hours later, regardless of the stress and the sun and all of that, there’s this confidence I attain, like I can save the world! Lol no? Okay, but close.

I’m sure you’d want to stay smelling good and fresh all day long. So here are 8 tips on how to stay smelling fresh all day long.

1. Shower Properly. The first key to smelling fresh all day is to shower, properly. You do not expect to not shower and then wear perfumes hoping to smell angelic all day, I mean, unless you want to bath in the perfume lol which would be crazy, it’s only advisable you shower.

2. Clean Clothes. Wash your clothes and keep them clean. Nobody would be comfortable getting close to someone wearing dirty clothes which is causing them to not smell nice. So clean clothes matter.

3. Diet. I’m sure you must’ve heard the saying ‘You are what you eat’, it apples to how you smell too. If you didn’t know that your diet plays a huge role in the way that you smell, now you do. Eating fresh fruits, proteins, vegetables and staying healthy can help keep you smelling fresh.

4. Invest in good perfumes. This is a major key to smelling good. The fragrance you put on, is you. You get to choose. But you should always make sure you go for a fresh, natural one. That’d give you confidence all day and make you feel comfortable.

5. Stay Hydrated. Water is so essential. And it can never be over emphasized. Staying hydrated helps you ward off bad odors. Take lots of water and keep your skin hydrated.

6. Know the right spots. Knowing the right places to wear your perfume on your skin goes a long way in maintaining a good smell all day long. Places like behind your ears, knee area, the chest, armpits, ankles, back of your neck and wrists.

7. No Rubbing. As I earlier mentioned that one of the best places to put your perfume is your wrist, well never rub them together after application. Resist the urge to rub cause it could lead to less wear time.

8.Reapply. The 8th tip of the day is to reapply your perfume during the day, this is where your ‘pocket friendly’ or ‘travel size’ perfumes come in handy. Keep it in your purse or pockets and reapply to remain fresh.
